How to Play Wordemy
Guess the word in 7 turns
You have a total of 7 attempts to find the correct word. Each entry must be a valid 4-letter English word. No random characters are allowed; the game won't let you pass.
Read the hints after each guess
After submitting, the game will provide feedback on each letter:
- Correct letter in the correct position → keep it, consider it a sure thing.
- Correct letter in the wrong position → need to rearrange.
- Letter not in the word → discard it to avoid confusion.
Use Sneak a Peek when stuck
The game gives you up to two chances to "peek" at a letter in the correct position. It sounds simple, but knowing when to use it is the key. Sometimes you might not have enough time until the end, but using it too early feels... a bit wasteful.
Note on repeated letters
This is where mistakes are easiest. A letter can appear multiple times in the same word. If you're used to guessing once and then eliminating it, you'll easily block your own path.
Some tips for playing Wordemy
- Start with words that balance vowels and consonants: Don't guess too inaccurately; it will be difficult to uncover the information.
- Don't rush to use Sneak a Peek: Try guessing at least 3-4 times initially to gather information.
- Remember the eliminated letters: It sounds basic, but it's easy to forget when you're panicking.
- Deduce instead of guessing: Towards the end, each guess should have a clear reason; don't take risks.
Wordemy becomes more and more addictive the longer you play it, in its own unique way.
