Word Fill is a fun vocabulary puzzle game where players have to place supplied words in the right places on a crossword grid to solve the puzzles. Word Fill puzzles are created in different shapes, rather than the typical crossword puzzle, which is always in a square shape. The crossword squares can expand in numerous directions to create unique constructions with gaps and connecting branches like a tree, making every level feel fresh.

How to Play Word Fill

Your job is to finish the puzzle by filling in all the words on the crossword grid. First, pick a place on the grid to select the crossword square you want to fill in. Then select a word from the list and place it in the space you have chosen. If the word fits in the number of spaces and letters cross, it will be filled in.

Horizontal and vertical row switching

Some squares may belong to horizontal and vertical rows concurrently. In this situation, each click on that cell will toggle between two orientations so you may choose the exact spot you wish to fill in.

Remove A Word Placed

If you wish to change your response, click on the word previously filled in on the board and use the rubber icon to delete it. Or just click the word in the list to remove it from the board.

Hints

When you’re stuck, hit the Hint button to randomly disclose a word on the board. This function helps you find a solution without starting over.

Word Fill Features

• Players get to select from multiple board sizes of 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20. As the size increases, players must order more words and demonstrate stronger observation and reasoning skills.
• Word Fill includes four levels of difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard and Tough. From easy stages for beginners to severe riddles for those who like a challenge, the game has something for everyone.
• Next to the crossword puzzle is a list of words to fill in. The words are sorted by character count to make it easier for players to find the word that matches each blank space on the board.
