While Wordle forces you to track a single letter board, Tordle raises the difficulty by presenting three puzzles simultaneously. Each word you enter will be applied to all three boards at once, so every guess must yield useful information for multiple objectives instead of just one.

Each valid word you enter will appear on all three boards simultaneously. After confirmation, each board will display its own color feedback to indicate which letter is in the correct position, correct but misplaced, or not appearing at all.
This leads to many fascinating situations where a letter may be vital on one board, but useless on another. You always have to choose between trying to solve one board first or continuing to gather information for all three.
Effective Management of Information
Instead of just looking at each board separately Tordle challenges players to find words that can check numerous unidentified letters at once. Towards the end of the game, when the three boards become noticeably different, choosing the right guessing word becomes much more important than in a regular Wordle.
Trodle Tips
- In the first few turns, prioritize words that test many new letters instead of trying to solve one board immediately.
- Compare the results of all three boards after each guess. A letter eliminated in one board could still be the key to another.
- When one board is nearly complete, don't let it distract you from gathering information for the other two.
- If two boards are already clear, use the final guess to solve the most difficult board instead of focusing on confirming words you almost know.
