How to play Soccer Wordle
Enter the name of any player playing in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga or Ligue 1, then press Enter to submit the answer. After each guess, the letter boxes will change color to show the feedback:
- Green: The letter is correct and in the correct position.
- Orange: The letter is in the player name but in the wrong position.
- Gray: The letter is not in the player name.

- Remember that only players from the top five European leagues: Avoid guessing players from the MLS, Saudi Pro League or other minor leagues—the game only accepts names from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1.
- Take advantage of name length: Player names vary in length each day. If today is a 6-letter name, think of players with short names like Messi, Giroud, Casemiro, Kulusevski, etc.
- Based on familiar letter combinations in player names: For example, inho is often associated with Brazilian players, ski or vic is associated with Eastern European players, and son is often associated with Northern European or Korean players.
- Incorporate practical knowledge of form and popularity: The player chosen each day is usually someone who is playing well or is well known at the moment—think of hot faces in the major leagues.
- Identify the correct letters to make deductions: If you have letters like A, R, and I in the middle, you can suggest names like Maria, Dario, or Arias—often found in South American or Italian players.
