Ribbit is a word puzzle game that mixes letter-connecting gameplay with word searching. Letters are laid out in connected paths on each level for the player to find words from.

How to Play Ribbit

Players choose a sequence of adjacent letters on the board to form a word. words are instantly recorded on the screen. words must be a minimum of four letters. Long words can generate shorter words, giving players multiple answers to find from the same set of letters.

Each letter is associated with a specific group of words to find. Once the entire group of words linked to a letter is completed, that letter transforms into a frog. These frogs are a unique feature of Ribbit and create a secondary objective within each level.

Ribbit and the Frogs

The frogs are more than just visual rewards; players can click on them to make them pop off the board.

Frog Pop

After completing words, players can click on the frogs that appear on the board, a fun mini-activity separate from the main word-finding goal. Meeting specific conditions can trigger Frog Frenzy, giving players an additional interactive sequence involving the frogs.

Finding More Words

Ribbit doesn't end immediately after the frogs are completed; the board may still hold undiscovered words. Players can keep searching and find more answers, which could be quite long or less known words.

Ribbit is easy to learn but it takes good observation skills and a strong vocabulary. Players have to spot runs of letters that form real words.
