Quintessential
Quintessential is a simple yet challenging daily word puzzle game. Your task is to rearrange the letters in a 5×5 grid to form five complete horizontal words. It sounds simple, but each swap requires the player to deduce, experiment, and predict the exact position of each letter.
How to Play Quintessential
Each game starts with a 5×5 grid of 25 scrambled letters. You can click, tap, or drag to swap the positions of any two letters. After each swap, the Moves counter will increase, and the goal is to complete the entire grid in the fewest moves possible—some levels can be solved in as few as 8 perfect moves.
Color Hint System
Similar to Wordle, Quintessential uses three-color feedback to help players read the status of each letter:
- Green: The letter is correct and in the right place.
- Yellow: The letter is correct but in the wrong place in the word.
- Gray: The letter belongs to a different row in the grid.
With this system, players gradually realize the connection between rows of letters, experimenting with small swaps to reach the perfect balance of 25 letters—a very satisfying moment.
