Music Band is a band management simulator where you build your own group, create music, and work your way toward live performances. Start by designing your lead character, choosing a band name, and recruiting musicians to complete your lineup.

From buying equipment to recording songs and preparing merchandise, there is plenty to manage before your band is ready to take the stage. Whether you want to create a serious music group or experiment with ridiculous ideas, Music Band gives you room to shape your own musical journey.

How to Build Your Band in Music Band

Create Your Character and Recruit Musicians

Every band starts with its members. Music Band lets you customize your character's appearance and personality before choosing a name for your group. You can adjust different physical features and create a character that stands out, whether you want a traditional rock star look or something much stranger.

Once your character is ready, visit the music store to find musicians for your lineup. Recruit guitarists, bass players, and drummers to help turn your solo project into a complete band. You will also need equipment before you can get serious about making music. Choose your next steps carefully as you build a group that can practice, record songs, and perform live.

Write Songs and Record an Album

Creating music is one of the main parts of Music Band. The songwriting system uses a puzzle-style minigame, where musical ideas from different band members can be combined to create a song. Experiment with the available pieces to put together your own tracks and give your band a unique sound.

You can also import an audio file to use as the music for a song. After preparing your track, decide how much time to spend recording it and work toward releasing your album. Once the recording is finished, your music is ready to become part of your band's growing collection.

Prepare for Your First Gig

Design Merchandise and Promote Your Music

A band needs more than songs to get noticed. Music Band lets you create custom merchandise by adding images and text to your designs. You can personalize your items with unusual artwork or memorable slogans, then give your band's products their own identity.

You can also arrange band photography to create pictures of your group. Choose poses and capture images that represent your band's style. These promotional details help you prepare for upcoming performances and make your group feel more like a real music act.

Book Gigs and Get Ready to Perform

After recording your music and preparing your promotional materials, it is time to look for a place to play. You can explore venues, find available performance opportunities, and book a gig for your band. Some shows may offer opening slots for other groups, giving you a chance to get on stage and start building your reputation.

Planning ahead matters because a booked performance gives you time to prepare. Manage your band's activities, get everyone ready, and make sure you have taken care of the important tasks before the show. From recruiting musicians to arranging your first gig, every step brings your band closer to performing in front of an audience.
