Footy Tic Tac Toe is a unique game that combines the classic tic-tac-toe game with real football knowledge. Instead of just placing an “X” or “O” on the board, you have to name the football players who match the criteria for each square – for example, the French player who used to play for Chelsea.

How to play Footy Tic Tac Toe

• A 3×3 board with criteria in rows and columns (e.g., club on top, nationality on the left).
• Each turn, players place an “X” or “O” by naming the player who matches the criteria at that coordinate. Players can be current or retired.
• The first person to get 3 boxes in a row vertically, horizontally or diagonally wins.
• You can play multiple rounds: either as a single-player "Box2Box" game every day, with friends on the same device, or online with other players.
• Steal mode: allows stealing the opponent’s box by naming the other player. Each player has a limit of 3 steals.
