Eldrow is an innovative puzzle game that offers a unique challenge. Instead of guessing a target word like in Wordle, you will be given the target word and the main goal is to find the original root word.

How to play Eldrow

Each puzzle consists of 2 parts:

• A root word — for example, MATCH
• A colored grid showing the rules for the word to be guessed.

You need to guess a word that matches the colour rules deduced from the root word:

• Green: the letter is in the correct position and is the same as the root word.
• Yellow: the letter is in the root word but in a different position.
• Black: the letter is not in the word to be found (except those marked green/yellow).
