Blossom Word Game

If you’ve ever loved Wordle or Spelling Bee, Blossom Word Game is the educated cousin of Merriam-Webster—the famous dictionary publisher that also owns Quordle. The game sounds easy, but it actually requires more finesse and a flexible mind for arranging words than you think.

Blossom Word Game Rules

Each day, you can only create 12 words from the characters that appear on the flower. Every word you combine must include the middle letter. A few notable rules:

  • The word must have at least 4 letters.
  • You are allowed to reuse letters.
  • No proper nouns, hyphenated words or sensitive language.
  • The longer the word, the higher the score.

4-letter words are 2 points, but when you combine longer words, the score jumps significantly. At 7 letters, the reward suddenly becomes much sweeter—just like the sweet spot, as the players joke.

Special Petals and Bonus Points Mechanism

  • In each round, a letter on the petal is outlined in gold—that is, the bonus letter. Every time you use it, you will be awarded 5 points.
  • And if you are lucky (and smart) enough to create a pangram—that is, a word containing all 7 letters—you will receive 7 extra special bonus points.
  • It seems easy, but it is not easy, because to reach that bonus point, you must really understand how to arrange, transform and exploit the full power of each character.

Experience playing the Blossom Word Game

  • At first, everyone will combine familiar words like salsa or lining. But the more you play, the more you discover the appeal of optimizing the score—when trying to think of words like slinging, availing, or signaling just to take advantage of more characters.
  • The feeling of seeing your word accepted and your score jump is truly addictive.
  • And if you’re good enough to create a pangram, the game rewards you with a subtle sense of triumph—not the loud kind, but the kind that you’ve solved a language problem.

Blossom Word Game isn’t a stressful puzzle game. It’s more like an afternoon tea with words—both relaxing and intellectually stimulating. Put aside the noise and try to grow your own flower of words—each petal a letter, each word a little piece of patience and creativity. If you are a true Swifties, don't forget to explore the game TayHeardle.
