You can enter the album name or artist in the search box. After each selection, the game will display related information in colored boxes. These clues help you gradually narrow down the answer range.

Enter the album name to get started
You can search for any album or select an album by artist name. Album Guesser will check many characteristics of that choice and compare it with the answer of the day.
Some of the criteria used include Artists, Type, Genres, Year, Length, Countries, Contributors, Instruments and Label. Thanks to that, each guess provides more data for you to make inferences.
Read the colored boxes to find clues
The information Album Guesser boxes after each guess are the most important part of the game. The yellow box indicates that the attribute matches the album you are looking for. Gray or crossed-out cells indicate inconsistent information.
For example, if the pop genre appears yellow, you can continue to focus on albums within this genre. Similarly, information about the artist, country or record label also helps eliminate many other options.
Narrow down the answer through each guess
Use approximately year and duration
Album Guesser automatically aggregates some data above the search box. This section may show the year of release, for example between 2014 and 2020.
Album length is also limited according to predictions. You may encounter intervals like between 37:55 and 1:08:45. This is a pretty quick way to eliminate albums that are too short or too long.
Based on confirmed information
Yellow tags such as pop, synth-pop, United States or Vocals indicate confirmed features. Combine them with release year and length to find more suitable albums.
